About taylors Unilink courses
Taylors UniLink offers two government accredited Higher Education Diploma programs:
Open to international and domestic applicants, each program consists of an innovative course to help you prepare for all aspects of university learning. With a Taylors UniLink Diploma, going straight to a Bachelor's Degree at university with credit becomes a reality.
The Taylors UniLink Diploma consists of 12 academic units (96 credit points) with an academic load of 4 subjects per trimester. Each trimester is made up of 12 teaching weeks, with subjects having four hours of face-to-face tuition per week.
This mix of formal lectures and interactive tuition combined with smaller sized classes allows students to maximise interaction and feedback from the lecturing staff. Additional to this, students are expected to complete at least 6 hours per subject per week of additional independent study including completion of assignments.
Assessment will vary from subject to subject but will include a combination of course work such as:
- Essays
- Oral reports
- Case studies
- Short answer questions
- Modelling exercises
- In-class tests and a final examination
The final exam generally contributes 50% of the total subject mark.
