Entering a Taylors UniLink Diploma

There are several ways to enter a Taylors UniLink Diploma.

1. Direct Entry

Students who have met both the academic and English language entry requirements for the Taylors UniLink Diploma are eligible for direct entry. The required entry criteria is:

• Year 12 with ATAR of 50 and passes in relevant academic subjects or equivalent
• IELTS 6.0 (with no Band less than 5.5)

2. Provisional Entry

Students who have met the academic entry requirements, but require some English language preparation can apply for provisional entry.

Provisional entry with an IELTS score of 4.5

Students must do 30 weeks of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) prior to the Diploma.

Provisional entry with an IELTS score of 5.0

Students must do 20 weeks of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) prior to the Diploma.

Provisional entry with an IELTS score of 5.5

Students must do 10 weeks of English for Academic Purposes prior to the Diploma, with the option of doing an Academic Unit from the Taylors UniLink Diploma program during their study.

3. Recognition of Prior Learning

Students who have undertaken higher education diplomas in relevant programs of study at other institutions may be eligible for credit towards some of their Taylors UniLink Diploma. Students should submit evidence of prior study and detailed curriculum content at the time of application to the State Academic Director for assessment.
